Northeast Elite welcomes Coach Mahmoud to our training facility

Age: 25, Born in Alexandria, Egypt. Mahmound is a greco_roman and freestyle medalist for Egypt Post Wrestling team, the largest national wrestling team in Egypt. Mahmoud is distinguished by his uniques both on the mat in Competition and in conditioning exercises. Mahamoud's cross-over techniques and dynamic approach are redily applicable to Folkstyle, an area that Mahmoud is committed to contribute to.

Mahmoud was a gold medalist in the South African Johnny Reitz Big 5 Open Championships, Greco-Roman [2004, 2005] and Freestyle [2004]; a Silver Medalist in the South African Johnny Reitz Big 5 Open Championships, Freestle [2005]; the Pan Arab Games, Jordan, Greco-Roman[2005]; and the US Northeast Regional Championships, Greco-Roman [2006]. Mahmoud has also been a Guest coach for UK Aspull Olympic Wrestling Club [2005] and is Co-founder for Wrestling for Peace, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peaceful resolution of local social and economic problem at a community level, through sporting exchanges, community discussions and community service.

Mahmoud is current a visiting volunteer coach at Northeast elite Wrestling Training Center in Enfield, CT.

This year we have had some outstanding coaches conduct training sessions and camps. Here are some of the highlights below. Northeast Elite will continue to be the Training facility where All-Americans and Olympians come to train, teach and wrestle hard.

Northeast Elite is pleased to welcome coach Ken DeStefanis to our coaching staff. Ken has coached and trained Athletes at all levels of ability from beginner to NCAA Division I. He will be dropping by on a weekly basis to help our wrestlers prepare for state, regional and national tournaments.
